Mansion Kotsika dominates the town beach with beautiful architecture and wonderful balance of volumes.
It is a three-storey building with neoclassical elements and Baroque elements. It has two domes to the beach and two bouts with the most elegant Farmakidou Street.
Particular attention has been paid to the external lighting of the building in order to display the slightest architectural detail and unique design.
In 1904 the merchant Kotsikas from Karystos and resident of Cairo Egypt bought a factory that was in this position.
On the instructions of the engineer Pothitos Kamara (he who built the Tide hotel), built in 1906 the building.
The building was bought by the municipality of Halkida heirs of Kochi in 1984 under Mayor John Spanos and now houses the town hall of Halkida.
The inauguration of the new hall took place on March 4, 1994 under Mayor Stelios Margaritis.
