Architectural monument of urban architecture of the Turkish occupation. One of the few mansions now preserved in the historic building site of Chalkida. After 1910 and before World War II, the mansion was converted into a hotel, used during the war as women’s prisons, then housed the “Ecclesiastical Orphanage of Chalkis” until about 1950.
