The Pili beach is a beautiful sandy beach with scattered pebbles at various points.
The sea is quite deep. Also, like most beaches of Evia “see” Aegean have enough air and sea most days. You will not lose in any way but your bathroom since there is a small port ideal to protect against any possible air.
In the immediate vicinity of at least 5 bars where you can get coffee drinks and sandwiches, and there are just above the beach respectively 5-6 taverns. You will also find rooms and hotels to spend your vacation complete.
Finally generally the beach on weekends fills with people and is offered for entertainment for the whole family!
Route: Starting from the intersection of Sand Liannis follow the sign that says “to North Evia-Prokopi.” After about 10 km or once you have passed through Artaki without turn anywhere you arrive at a traffic light with a fork that is “Saint John Russian” sign to the left and then after passing through a place called Castella arrive in another an intersection with traffic lights you should go straight following the sign that says “L.Aidipsou-Saint John Russian.”
After 36km from the intersection is approaching the village of Prokopi careful to turn right at the sign for Pili. The route is now 100% asphalt.
Prokopi, the Pelion beach is 8km (about 8 minutes)
The total distance is about 55km from Halkida but because it has many turns (at least until Prokopi) calculate at least an hour to arrive.
