The Karystos Beach faces south. Alongside the beach, and throughout most of its length, extends the coastal road of the city, giving direct access to it. The road is separated from the beach by a row of trees (trees).
The beach at the busiest points has cabins (locker room) for bathers and shower.
In the eastern part (beach) there are beach chairs and umbrellas, offering seaside cafes and refreshment.
The toponymy is Hangman.
Collect a sufficient number of bathers who enjoy the services of shops (coffee, drink, food).
The water is shallow, clean, warm, safe for children, with sandy bottom throughout this section (300 meters).
Immediately to the west, the beach is still sandy, but there is a section with rocky bottom for about 250 meters, suitable for snorkelling and amateur fishing. After 7-8 meters away from the shore, the seabed is sandy.
The many trees, that ‘close’ the beach from the north side, offering rich shade. There are also umbrellas, permanently placed along the beach.
