The sources of Ilia gush from metamorphic rocks almost at sea level. Water running down the gravel of the coast and its presence is felt by red sediment deposited in contact with the sea and by the increased temperature.
Approaching the source, the sea temperature rises and therefore the agitation created areas with large temperature difference. The water temperature as provided by the spring is greater than 60 degrees and barely able to touch it.
The beach has a few umbrellas and some municipalities belonging to apartments in the area. It would be nice to have your own umbrella and to get your coffee from the nearby coastal cafes as there is no organized paralia.Dipla the gushing hot water, there is a shower.
