The beach of Atsitsa is considered the most picturesque beach of Skyros. It is a small pebble and sandy beach. The small creek with the houses built around it, the boats and boats sailing in the calm waters and the green nature, create a landscape of real peace and beauty.
The bay of the village used to serve as a port of the island, serving in particular the iron mines. On the beach there are still the stone pillars that were used to transport the wagons of the mines.
